Sales Representative (SaaS)

The role

As our Sales Representative (SaaS), you’ll be responsible for fully securing a high volume of subscriptions to our QBox product, nurturing leads and hunting for opportunities to upsell.

In this role, you’ll need to have a strong understanding of the sales process and demonstrable experience in closing and securing business. You’ll also need to possess an in-depth knowledge of our product in order to identify whether it can meet the needs of prospective clients so that you can effectively close deals. 

We’re looking for a quick learner who is self-directed and has strong negotiating skills; someone who has the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving sales presentations, product demonstrations, attending networking events and attending trade shows, it’s essential that our Sales Representative (SaaS) be personable and professional.

Skills and experience

  • At least 4 years’ experience in short (14- to 60-day) SaaS sales cycles

  • Solid understanding of SaaS business

  • Degree (ideally business-related) from a good university

  • Entrepreneurial spirit or experience of working for a start-up/early-stage company

  • Experience of presenting technical concepts to people of all levels

  • Proven track record of success

  • Knowledge of value sell versus feature sell

  • Desire to learn and develop

  • Presentable, confident and polished appearance
