Sales Director

Remote/Wokingham, UK Base

The role

We are looking for a dedicated and analytical Sales Director to lead our sales team. 

As our Sales Director, your responsibility will be to build a strong sales strategy in order to accomplish targets and quotas, manage the team of sales professionals, and oversee financial success of the department. On a day-to-day basis, you will also manage sales activities, meet with clients, write sales reports and work with the marketing team to promote company products and services.  

As the leader of the sales team, you’ll need to motivate the team to drive all revenue from new and existing B2B customers of the AI suite of products. You will manage the whole sales team who are split into two groups, each aligned to a different product; Fruut and QBox and ensure that they are driven to achieve the overall sales team target as well as personal sales targets. 

To be successful as our Sales Director, you will need to have strong leadership skills and the ability to drive company success. Ultimately, an experienced Sales Director should have in-depth knowledge of the market and competitive products, and have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Skills and experience

  • Min. 10 years of combined experience as individual contributor and team manager of a SaaS team

  • Evidence of achieving individual targets as well as team targets at previous business

  • Ability to sell and coach how to sell a technical product into a technical audience

 

  • Experience working at a start-up business with revenues under £500k

  • Demonstrable experience in writing and implementing coaching plans for reps

  • Demonstrable experience in the 360 sales cycle

 

  • Experience in working with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Microsoft Stack and other RevOps tools

 

  • Experience of building a team and strategy that has exceeded revenue goals

 

  • Channel Partnership Experience

  • Experience of Conversational AI industry (Bonus)
