People Coordinator

The role

As our People Coordinator, you will ensure that all processes run smoothly, our employees are engaged, efficient and productive in a happy and healthy way so that Volume remains a competitive and great place to work.

You will be responsible for ensuring all HR documentation is up-to-date, HR processes are fit for purpose and our locations are safe, functional and reflective of Volume as a company. You will be involved in various stages of the HR lifecycle such as recruitment and onboarding, reward and recognition, benefits, engagement and employee relations. 

In this role, you will act as a brand ambassador whilst representing the company at events or fairs. You will also be accountable for safeguarding Volume’s brand reputation and visual identify across all our social media platforms, our internal pages – Voogle and Volume People and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Skills and experience

  • Ideally achieved Level 3 or studying towards
    a Level 5 CIPD qualification

  • Relevant commercial experience in a similar role

  • Ability to work and be flexible in a fast-paced HR department

  • Ability to build effective relationships
    with line managers and employees in
    all levels of the business

  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills
    (verbal and written)

  • Proactive mentality, ability to work on your
    own initiative

  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
