Lead Developer

The role

We’re looking for a lead developer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a developer who is currently a senior or lead, who is excited by our AI and who would relish the chance to contribute their skills to help our innovative products excel. If that’s you, we’d love to meet you!

 

As our Lead Developer, you’ll be overseeing a talented team of developers, advising on fundamental architecture decisions, future-proofing our solution, and working alongside our UX, data scientists and QAs to jointly develop and support our in-market AI products (including QBox), which are used by the biggest companies in the world.

 

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the development process is progressive, remains on track, and is well documented (as well as future-orientated, scalable and secure). You’ll need to display strong leadership skills to inspire your colleagues, and a high level of technical and scalable architectural knowledge. In this role, you’ll also build the bridge between the engineering and product teams, so you’ll need to be competent at working with product owners and stakeholders across the business.

 

You’ll need to have a product mindset and know how to think about the big picture so that you can translate business objectives into technical executions. As a lead and representative of the product development team, you’ll need to proactively keep abreast of industry developments, skills and technologies, and consult with and support managers to make sure that the team and technologies being selected are aligned with the product vision and goals.

Skills

  • Experience as a Senior or Lead Developer

 

  • Strong development experience. .Net core, Angular, SQL server, Azure (function, PaaS....), producing high-standard code assets, SaaS scale-able architecture, Cloud architecture, high growth product

 

  • Desire to be involved in developing our products and within AI

 

  • Interest in working in a team that deals with ambiguity and constant innovation

 

  • Ability to build & maintain strong working relationships with other members of the delivery team and the wider technology organisation

 

  • Demonstrate a logical and structured approach to time management and task prioritisation

  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills, ideally having fulfilled a leadership or mentorship duties
