Instructional Designer

The role

As a highly experienced instructional designer (ID) of self-paced, online learning, you’ll work closely with our talented in-house project-management and Instructional Design teams. You’ll be liaising directly with client stakeholders and external SMEs to gather requirements, then maintain existing content and create new material as needed. You’ll need demonstrable experience of all aspects of instructional design, including scoping and high-level, detailed design of high-quality online learning. The training is for a SaaS product that changes rapidly, so you’ll need to be resilient. You’ll need to demonstrate a creative yet appropriate use of the client’s brand and tone of voice, graphics, system simulations and animations, and produce detailed storyboards that meet internal standards for any media assets required.

To be successful, you must have experience of designing for a templated content management system (CMS). And as you’ll be working in Agile, experience of DevOps is advantageous. We’d also expect you to be able to develop SME-level knowledge of the client’s SaaS product, and be proficient with Camtasia screencast software.

This is a completely remote and home-working role.
