Content Manager

Remote, UK

The role

We’re excited that share an entirely new role of ‘Content Manager’ to join our growing L&D team!

We’re looking for someone who will be instrumental in setting up and managing appropriate process and systems to ensure the smooth creation and ongoing maintenance of all online learning materials.

This will involve working closely with the Account Manager (AM) and client to capture and understand user needs and translating them into actionable user stories and backlogging them in TFS/DevOps. You’ll then work with the client to prioritise the backlog for the PM to assign the next tasks to the ID team.

As part of this role, you’ll need to build relationships with the client’s internal product teams to work with the AM to gather any further insight needed for the ID team. And work with our internal Product Owner (PO) to ensure any future requirements for new features in the CMS/LMS, that would enable innovation within the content, are factored into development sprints accordingly.

As the Content Manager, you’ll play an integral part of ensuring all content meets the acceptance criteria, so acute attention to detail and robust quality assurance are core skills required.

With a background in both modern and traditional instructional design, you’ll be expected to have experience of working in Agile environments as you’ll be required to work cross-functionally, and in particular our talented in-house Instructional Design (ID) and Project Management (PM) teams.

You’ll use your expert knowledge of our content catalogue and newly acquired SME level knowledge of the SaaS software being trained to pre-empt any new requirements or dependencies of creating/updating content across various learner pathways and Certification exams.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be familiar with using a templated Content & Learning Management System (CMS/LMS).
